The building was arranged in its present form between the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries (on pre-existing buildings) and still retains the charm of the old and lived-in (the ‘patina of time’ can be caught there). A typical stately home intended to house a notable family of the past centuries, it features interesting living arrangements (the flight of rooms, the pictorial decorations on the ceilings, the parts intended for rustic use) and en plain air areas such as the garden and the courtyard, places of decided character and singular charm in which light and shadow play with a romantic flavor. The respectful restoration conducted in recent times by the current owner (architect Walter Servetti) has preserved intact all the charm that ‘mansion houses of camapagna’ of yesteryear, if interpreted well, can convey.
